Taiwan is one of the islands having the extremely high density of mountains in the world since Taiwan has almost 70% area of mountains and more than 260 mountains over 3000 meters high. It includes the climates from tropical area to frigid area, nurturing the splendid grasslands, beautiful lakes, spectacular cliffs, historical glacier ruins, and over 100 thousands of Taiwan endemic species. “Beauty is everywhere. It is not that she is lacking to our eye, but our eyes which fail to perceive her”, feeling from the wild, presented by the mysterious and attractive Taiwan mountains, is the reason why I like to go hiking.
