Whispers of the Forest
Mountains are more than towering peaks and expansive vistas. Stepping into the depths of the forest, away from the summits and ridges, one is greeted by layers of overlapping trees, light and shadow filtering through the canopy, and mist lingering in the air. Here, the mountain no longer displays its grand scale, but settles quietly into every corner of the woods.
I treasure the subtle tranquility found within the forest—the wind rustling through the canopy, the faint crunch of fallen leaves underfoot, the slow drift of mist, and the soft piercing of sunlight. It is as if the forest is never truly silent, but whispering in a voice uniquely its own. These wordless impressions become the subtle murmurs I hear among the trees, and the very moments I seek to preserve through my imagery.
